Search Engine Marketing For Local Businesses

“People Searched Over 2 Billion Times

Last Month on Google™”

“Our Only Focus and Purpose is to get Your Web Site Listed on the First Page of Google.”

It doesn’t matter what type of local Business you have. Whether the website is for a Plumber, Chiropractor, Home Remodeler, or Dentist, getting a website any website on the first page of Google is a process.

Google is the 800 lb gorilla in the room when it comes to search engine traffic. Look at the main page for Google and then the main page for yahoo or Bing. Google is a no nonsense search page. There aren’t horoscopes, weather maps or news. Just a striped down high speed search portal.

Over 63% of all searches happen on Google. If you want traffic to your website you want it from Google. 13 Billion Core searches and 1 Billion Local Searches are performed on Google each and every month.

Now that you understand that you want traffic form Google you need to understand how Google thinks before they will send you traffic. Google got to be the number one search engine by giving their customers (searchers) what they wanted. Just like you need to understand your patients and what they need and want, Google is the same way.

Lets start with what Google does not like to see. Number one is duplicate content. If two sites have the same information, which one should Google list first? What we find is that neither site will be at the top of search results. Google will simply look for a site with original content.  This is why clone sites don’t do well in the search engines.

There are a lot of companies offering  Clone sites. They will occasionally pop up in search results but sites with original content will beat them out as a rule.

The second thing is Flash sites. Flash sites may look nice but goggles spider are not able read it so it has no way to categorize it.

The next type of site that Google has trouble listing is one or two page sites. Google wants to give the searcher content. All things being equal the site with more content will be the one featured.

Let us run a diagnostic exam on your website to see where you stack up in the search engines.
